Broken and bleeding, we’re tenderly feeding
Our life’s blood to vampire beasts we
Call friends.
Our God given brains are sucked down social drains
By things called “entertainment”, bent toward
Evil ends.

Trust and Hope tied up in Government rope,
Struggled at first, but were brainwashed
Instead.
While the pitiful masses wear rags and raid trashes;
They look forward to nothing, but can’t wait to
Be dead.

We’re so satisfied with the ones who have lied.
They feed us on deceit, we like the taste of
Their guile.
While the world and our bodies fall apart all around me,
We find that we all still do nothing
But smile.

These grins on our faces show pain in more places
Than we know how to count, we can’t even
Express.
So we sit in the same place with this smile stuck on our face,
Hoping someone somewhere puts a stop to
This mess.
